If you watched the Grammy’s last Sunday, then you know that Ciara’s makeup look was fierce. Beyond fierce. We were so impressed that we immediately called the singer’s makeup artist Yolanda Frederick to congratulate her–and by the end of the conversation, she’d agreed to stop by the Essence.com office and give beauty editor Tia Williams her very own Ciara-at-the-Grammy’s makeover. The results were downright amazing (there was a lot of thrilled squealing on Tia’s part)–see for yourself in our step-by-step photo gallery breaking down Frederick’s process!

In the weeks before the Grammy’s, Atlanta celebrity makeup artist Yolanda Frederick flew to Paris with Ciara to conceptualize her head-to-toe red carpet look with Givenchy designer, Riccardo Tisci. “He absolutely fell in love with Ciara…she’s his new muse,” said Frederick, who adds that the kerfluffle over Ciara arriving late to the Givenchy couture show was totally manufactured. “Riccardo told her to come late so she could make a proper diva entrance!”

    Ciara and Pitbull remix should have been the only one released or should have been released 1st. Now what you have is DJ’s comparing the two remixes. So now we have to request for 2nd remix. If luda would have just release the remix with Ci only then this wouldn’t be an issue. I hear he has other remixes coming out.
